Death Valley Paintings
Gregory Frux's ongoing relationship with America's largest and wildest desert national park
began with official "Visiting Artist" Programs in 2005, 2006 and 2008
has continued with large studio work since that time:

Death Valley Badlands, oil on canvas 24" x 36"
Fantastic eroded landscape above Furnace Creek, in Twenty Mule Team Canyon.

The painting memoralizes the occasional flash floods, which destroy cars and take lives.

The End of Nature, oil on canvas 40" x 22"

When your car breaks down in Death Valley...

Death Valley Jet, oil on canvas 36" x 22"
The military flies daily training missions over western parts of Death Valley National Park.
Jets roar over at low altitude and fly down canyons, like this one, in the Saline Valley.
